Location: the property was right by attractions and other reviews, the whole Chiang Mai and a perfect central area of old town. It also was to the Grand Canyon. The employees at the hotel were really helpful.

The deck outside the rooms was adorned with pretty lanterns and flowers, creating a peaceful ambiance. The staff was always sweet and helpful, ready to answer any questions. I recently stayed at Thongran's House for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The owner, Kibb, was incredibly hospitable and gave us great recommendations for tours and places to visit. The staff was polite and the room was spacious and clean. The wifi signal was strong, and the affordable breakfast was delicious. The location of the guest house is central, with everything within walking distance, yet it still remains quiet. Highly recommended.
